                                            ABOUT ME

 

   Welcome to my world of Dreams, Accomplishments, and Conquered Failures. My dreams started at the age of ten after watching “The Little Drummer Boy.” This show inspired me to learn how play drums and give my full heart and mind to this talent. I started teaching myself to play drums on boxes and cans to great artists like Fats Domino, Nat King Cole and Steppenwolf. I bought my first set of drums when I was twenty-three years old and still play today, thirty-eight years later.

 

   Thirty-four years of my life was spent working in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant until I had a hip replacement. This was the point in my life when I decided to change my career to Music Production. I attended Full Sail University online from February 2014 to August 2017 graduating with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Music Production..  

 

   Playing drums has always been a big part of my life. From 1996 –1998, I played drums for the worship team at Akron Bible Church in Akron, Ohio. We were very involved in doing street ministry. From 1999 - 2002, I played drums with JC Experience, a Christian rock band. We played for many different ministry events such as Teen Challenge and the Avon Park Youth Academy; and fund raisers for the Humane Society and the Veterans Wall. From 2002–2018 I played drums for Reaching Higher Praise Band at Highlands Community Church in Sebring, Florida.

 

   My accomplishments are learning how to perfect using Digital Audio Workstations such as Logic Pro X and Pro Tools. I love creating music, sound design, and music videos/audio tracks for movie trailers and commercials.  I also like to freelance and create my own videos and audio tracks. My husband plays guitar, sings, and also has a great voice over voice that is an added bonus to freelancing.

 

   I’m very passionate about everything I do. I love to send out a positive energy to those around me. It reminds me of the song “Id Like to Teach the World to Sing (in perfect harmony),” New Seekers version from 1972. I put my whole heart, mind, and soul into everything I create. When working with others, I value their opinions and ideas. I believe in teamwork to accomplish great projects and conquer any obstacles that might arise.
